Hello, my name is Lisa Cangialosi. I live in Ellicott City, MD along with my husband and 3 children. I have taught Kindergarten, First grade and Reading Recovery in Howard County Public Schools. As a reading specialist, I privately tutor at schools and my home, elementary and middle school students using the reading intervention for dyslexia, Orton-Gillingham. In addition, I teach preschoolers beginning phonemic awareness, reading and handwriting skills.
My education includes a B.S. in Elementary Education and Masters Degree in Reading. I have a 60-hour training certificate in Orton-Gillingham. I maintain a current Maryland Teaching Certificate and are certified in First Aid and CPR.
